FRUSTRATED DEMOCRATS WHO STAYED HOME ON ELECTION DAY...STOP YOUR BELLYACHING!

The following is my point of view.  What's yours?  After reading this column, please write your thoughts in the comment box below and share a link to The Controversy (www.TheControversy.net) with everyone in your e-mail directory...on your Facebook page...and on your Twitter feed. Thank you.

If you're a Democrat and you didn't vote in the Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 midterm elections then...SHAME ON YOU!

Two-thirds of American adults - 18 years of age and older - ignored the Constitutional process on Election Day and refused to cast their ballots.  So if you're a Democrat and you're complaining today that the United States Senate and the House of Representatives will both have control in Congress come January, 2015 then...SHUT YOUR MOUTHS!  You have no business bitching about anything because you did nothing to help the Democrats be elected and you did a great deal to cause them to lose.

Despite the loss by Democrats earlier this week...I want to be confident that the Republicans on Capitol Hill will stop the gridlock from one end of Pennsylvania Avenue to the other and that the GOP and its leaders - Speaker of the House John Boehner

and
presumed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

will work together with President Obama in a way that is best for America and Americans.

I can only hope that on Election Day 2016 that those of you Democrats, who in 2014, didn't bother to perform your duty and act responsibly by voting...will think about what happened this time around when you don't vote...and that you will run...not walk...to the polls two years from now.

On Tuesday, November 4th 2014, we Democrats lost the Senate.  On Tuesday, November 8th, 2016, let's not lose the Presidency...and let's take back the Senate and the House of Representatives.  On Tuesday night, November 8th, 2016, I want to hear all the television network anchors report..."The 45th President of the United States will be...Hillary Rodham Clinton."

And that's The Controversy for today.

                                                                        I'm Gary B. Duglin.

  1. It’s nice to blame everyone else, maybe many of them just could not vote for the GOP being lifelong Democrats but could not vote for the failing policies of this President. Remember he is the one who said he was not on the ballot but every one of his policies was, so they stayed home. The big questions is not whether McConnell or Boehner will stop the gridlock it is will President Obama stop the gridlock? His policy of my way or the highway needs to change, he needs to take a page out of both Reagan and Clinton’s play book, Reagan with Tip O’Neil and Clinton with Newt Gingrich and learn how to compromise. We all saw Wednesday how he is not willing to do that, he said if the GOP sends in something he wants and likes he will sign if not he will veto it and do what he wants right or wrong on his own. That will make more gridlock then every. Mr President learn to compromise, learn to admit when you are wrong, learn to do what is right for America and all its people and not what is politically right. Be an American first not a democrat first. As for Hillary Clinton we will have to wait and see, she has never done anything that would equip her to be President and you cannot show that she has any accomplishments to prove me wrong. But your party has shown over the last two elections that they like unqualified candidates and get them elected.
